Start with one record that you expected to appear. Write down its measurement type, date and which app already contains it. This gives you a specific case to check without adding repeated test entries.

1. Check the measurement type

BodyLog’s supported two-way Health types are weight, height, body fat and waist. Check the Apple Health feature page if you are comparing these with other body areas in your log.

2. Review read and write permissions

In Apple Health, open your profile picture or initials, look under Privacy for Apps, and select BodyLog if it appears. Review the read and write choices for the measurement involved. Apple lets you change these permissions separately; use its guide to sharing Health data with apps for the controls on your device.

If BodyLog is not listed, open BodyLog and review its Health options. If no access request is available or you are unsure what the displayed state means, contact support with the wording you see. An empty list of imported entries alone does not establish which permission was granted. Apple explains this Health privacy limitation.

3. Compare the record’s details

In Health, open the relevant category and measurement, then review Show All Data. Compare the date and unit with the entry in BodyLog. Check the source shown for the record, especially if a scale or another app also writes that type.

Apple’s Health data instructions explain Data Sources & Access and how source priority works. A summary from several sources may need a closer look than one dated record.

4. Keep permission changes separate from deletion

Use the permission controls to change access. Use Health’s record-management controls when you intend to remove a Health record. Read data-management help before deleting data; do not treat disconnecting a service as confirmation that every stored copy has been removed.
